We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and outgoing volunteer to assist at the front desk of our Community Center. As a Front Desk Clerical Volunteer, you will be the first point of contact for participants, providing a warm welcome and assisting with various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and participants with a positive, approachable attitude.
- Handle cash and process payments for activities and events.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and take messages as needed.
- Assist with basic computer tasks such as updating schedules, entering data, and maintaining records.
- Engage with the general public, answering questions, and providing information about community programs and services.
Requirements:
- A passion for working with people and providing excellent customer service.
- Basic computer skills (Very basic data entry, and cash register usage)
- Strong communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
- Commitment to volunteering once a week for a 4.5-hour shift.
Shifts available:
- Morning: 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
