Who We Are
The River Clean-Up Volunteer Program is a community-driven initiative dedicated to protecting and restoring the natural beauty of our rivers and riparian zones-- those crucial areas where land meets water. We are a passionate group of individuals, families, and organizations united be y common goal: to preserve the health of our local ecosystems and ensure cleaner, healthier waterways for everyone to enjoy.
What We Do
Our volunteers take action to maintain and improve the riparian environment by:
- Removing litter and debris along the riverbanks.
- Clearing invasive plants to support native ecosystems and promote biodiversity.
- Planting and caring for native vegetation to stabilize riverbanks and enhance wildlife zones.
- Educating participants on conservation practices and the importance of riparian zones.
Through hands-on efforts, we work together to make a tangible difference in our community and protect those vital waterways for future generations.
