Volunteer: Riparian Clean-Up

Join the movement to improve our rivers and riverbanks. We are lucky enough to have 8 miles of rivers running through our downtown. Let's roll up our sleeves and help mother nature keep clean and healthy. Riparian clean-ups remove litter along the banks and remove invasive plants. We provide the tools and safety gear. Please wear weather appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes (preferably boots), pants, and t-shirts or long-sleeved shirts. While the work is not unsafe, we do pull brush out and work with hand saws and loppers.
